How about all the blues going to Beijing have a meet up.

The suggestion it that we go down to Suniltan Village, ie bar street.. East of the Workers Stadium and east of Line 2 or west of line 10 of the metro.
There are three bars close to one another that seem cheap enough, north on Bar Street

The Youth Club, formaly Poachers Inn
The Tree
Kai Bar

all near one another, serving cheapish beer and food,

Either post in here or PM me

I'm off work that week and have considered doing this mate, but not being a seasoned travel ( been out of the country once in my 50 years and that was Munich last year) I have not got a clue how about sorting this out as stupid as it sounds

Flight into Beijing, use skycanner, but you might be looking at £800
Hotels/hostels you can book over the Internet
Use Expedia or holiday inn express, or hostel bookers.com
But, more importantly you need a visa which takes a couple of days to sort out, but you can do it in Manchester and they have a fast service too

Yes mate,

will definitely see you there. I arrive on the afternoon of the 25th and will inform the group of Blues in Oz that I know are going.

Hope the new away shirt arrives in time :-)

Do it Beano, it's not as if you will be alone ! The City family is a close one.

PM me if you need more info

We have booked it all independently and going to have a tour of the Great Wall, the Forbidden City, Tiananmen Square and the Summer Palace as well as watching the champions in the bird's nest!
