The kippax is gone, it's been gone for a decade, it's never coming back. I think it's high time we all got over it.

Sorry mate. Would you like us to just never mention it again? What about Joe mercer or mike Doyle? Are they off limits too?

Agree to a certain extent! People say the Etihad is soul-less well it won't be considered soul-less in the next 50 yrs!

Not saying that mate. But you know.......only a man with no future runs to his past.....and all that!

Or "you have to know the past to understand the present". I grew up on stories of Bell, Lee Summerbee. The crowds, the games, the Kippax. It's what started the love affair with the club.

As my friend has got on his City banner "We will never forget our past, you will never forget our future". The past is what makes this club special and makes the future even more enjoyable.

Still remember touching the concrete above the tunnel on the way out after every match - win or lose (the latter too many times for my liking!)

It didn't have the same appeal for me after they put in those seats. I was a big lad (6 foot 2+) so I never had a problem seeing everything when we were all stood up!

Also had my picture in the Pink once, leaning on the wall when I was in my early teens. Didn't have a circle round my kisser, unfortunately!
