Hi pagie jnr, this is the only way I could find. Gets you in Cork at 10:10 Sunday. Then 60 miles to Limerick. Downside, It's a whoppin £758. You can return to the UK via Shannon Airport on Monday. Best of luck, Tom

06:20 Hanover/Langenhagen International Airport, Germany 10:10 Cork International Airport, Ireland 1 stop(Amsterdam) 04:50 good

Cologne to Dublin then the bus to Limerick is a possibility and not too expensive (£71 flight, £22 return bus from Dublin Airport to Limerick).

Means leaving Hannover on a train at 5am to get to Cologne Airport.

I can't find the prices of the train at the moment. (Edit: 29 euros)

I'm considering doing it myself but I won't know until next week if I can afford to do it.

no, there is no direct train from Wolfsburg to Cologne in the night.
The next one is in the morning at 7.14 arriving at 11.11 in Cologne.
Anyway all trains are running from Wolfsburg to Hannover, there you have to take the train to Cologne

there is a late train running from Wolfsburg to Berlin after the match. Possibly you find a flight from there in the morning

Thanks for that will look into it but will probs end up giving it a miss as too much messing about as much as I'd love to do Limerick but looking like an extra £200+ to do both when I should be saving for Champions League Aways But I'm not totally ruling it out yet ;)

Just workedout lharpers route... back to hannover with blues after game, no sleep, hannover to koln half 5ish, pretty goosed, koln to airport half 8ish, fooked, fly Dublin (can't remember time), onto limerick bus or train wondering why this for preseason friendly. Plus all the LPWs(loyaltypointwhores) have snappedup all the standing tickets with no intention of goin anywhere. Eh greenie34 ;-)
