Make Marwood know we agree with Mancini

Do you think Marwood is making up the transfer policy as he goes along. He's a staff member carrying out the instructions of the owner.

I wonder how many pompey fans encouraged their board to give in to 'Arrys wishes whenever he wanted to spend money.

Why has Mancini come out in public, its not all about players coming in its also players going out. Marwood is dragging his feet.

I will always support Mancini in these things but you have to examine both sides of each argument. In this case, there's a reason for Marwood dragging his feet - namely that every other club views us as the Bank of Manchester, offering interest-free cash. We are trying to buy players from clubs who don't need to sell so they can extort us for as much as they want and if we refuse, we get no players. We can even lower their asking prices for other teams and gamble on us getting desperate and outbidding and if we do, they win the lottery. On the other front, the only way we can get rid of players is to give them such a large payout we might as well keep the players. In other words the only way Marwood can do his job is by agreeing to other clubs' demands that we accept our position as the fat kid at school who always has to give his lunch money to the first bully that comes along.

Mancini isn't concerned about FFP or budget, he (like all managers) will want to spend as much as he can without caring how it effects the club in other ways.

The amount of times a manager has left over not having control over transfer, am I being paranoid or do I have a right to be worried? As much of a prick that Gary Cook was i'm starting to think we're missing him.

How is he dragging his feet? Do you think Marwood makes up his own transfer policies or acts on orders from above?

He has a difficult task getting rid of ade and bridge when they are both on wages they will never get anywhere else ever again. RSC would move on but is injury prone also on a good wage and wants to stay in the northwest so this restricts him.

Mancini is frustrated but he isn't about to come out and start slagging off the Sheikh so is having a go at the only target he can get away with.

If Marwood is deemed not competent will all find out soon enough.

What a silly thread, of course we're behind Mancini. Why would we be anything else?
Are you saying that chanting his name might change the transfer policies set at the club?

Exactly, make noise for Mancini, but not for a stand against the transfer policy, do it because we always have and for what he's helped us achieve.

You guys are so fucking dull at times, you take everything so fucking seriously.

Lighten up, ffs

It's funny as fuck. The bitterness on here is unreal.
