Hart, Micah, Barry all out tomorrow, Kompany a doubt but may make it. Not an ideal start especially with no transfers to bolster the squad.

Location: Travelling 400 miles overall on matchday to see City play. Couldn't have it any other way.

It's fine. I would prefer to rest them as it's only a friendly and not risk further injury and then they be fresher come Southampton..

It will give us a bit more insight in how Costel Pantilimon handles the big games when needed. It is easy said and done but try not to fret. I am happy we don't need a vast number of signings.
