I look at him like Phil Jones this year for United. If five years United fans want to say he is a product of Man United's youth policy, such as Arsenal fans did with Clichy I will not agree. Cannes, and Blackburn made the finished product, that both teams improved.

TBF we have done the same with Denis Suarez buying him from Celta Vigo. If this lad goes on to be the talent that everybody seems to think he will be in time, has he come through our academy? A colleague spotted Michael Johnson last night smashing his Merc into a neighbour's car and then a wall. He then lay on a grass verge before kicking off with the Police who arrested him.

The lad that spotted him lives down the same road in Urmston - he can't really understand how he got enough speed up in his car to do the damage he did... God knows what he was thinking...
