Yeah not the case. I'm sure there had been a lot more fans if they had been showing it. Americans for the past few decades have only cared for american sports. It was only 4 years ago when I was flipping through the channels did I see a beautiful sport "english football" on the telly while watching stevie ireland net for city did I become a city fan, a fan of the sport to be more specific. The increased coverage of a dempsey like signing right now would blow city up. I already here new fan boys at my public place of work touting themselves as "city" fans. There prolly chelsea fans by now though hahaha... I despair.
