Not seen a thread yet so I apologise if there is, but how about giving this guy a chance? I expect the whole shite, not good enough for where we want to go ect but there's a chance here to sign someone who can play out wide and balance the wings for an extra option, free and relatively young. I know most of us want to sign a marquee name this summer, but there's no harm shopping around abit. You never know how a player will gel with a team, he could come in and play a blinder for us in our team and under Bobby, who has a knack of improving players. And if not, it's not exactly like we've lost much by giving it a go.

He's average, talented but one of the most inconsistent and frustrating players around. We have a better inconsistent winger already, Johnson, so what would be point of adding another. He was released by Chelsea for a reason, if they rated him they would have given him a new deal. Even if we were penny-pinching, we could have gone in for a much better signing Hoilett, or lured in Farfan before he signed a new contract with Schalke. Both would have offered more out wide than Kalou.
