Time to settle down again. Reported by Setanta as well as a few other websites today (sorry if already posted, don't think it has been - not on this forum anyway):

David Silva is poised to sit down and discuss a new five-year deal at Manchester City and snub increasing interest from Real Madrid.
The Spanish giants are reported to have made the mercurial midfielder their big transfer target of the summer and have earmarked £50million to prise him away from the Etihad Stadium.
But the player has already made it clear to both City and his agent he is happy in Manchester and is willing to sit down and discuss an extension to the two years remaining on his current contract.
That could see Silva join the likes of Sergio Aguero, Carlos Tevez and Yaya Toure on around £200,000 a week, and the 26-year-old would like to tie his long-term future down.
Silva's agent, Julio Llorente insists: "David has a long contract with Manchester City, and he's really valued there. I don't know what could happen in the future, but Silva wants to stay there."
The player, himself, added on his own website: "In only two years I have been able to win the most prestigious titles in England: the FA Cup in 2011 and the Premier League in 2012.
"I feel very comfortable here from when I arrived and nowadays I have just felt like a complete 'Citizen' man.
"I hope next season we will get more cups and also make a nice Euro Cup with my national team!"
