This might be better for the server aswell so it doesn't have to handle all the posts....
In this chatroom some members could "accidentally" post a url that might just be broadcasting a game.
if Sky/Fa came down hard because they saw someone posing a URL in this chat, you could just show them a policy which states members will be banned... and just change the caught offenders username.
my understanding is that legally hosting websites are not responsible for what users post on them, but I can appreciate Ric's position and entirely agree that it is best for Bluemoon to not be posting links in its content.
if a Twitter account were created, and the passwords known to several people (and used liberally) then perhaps tweets of game feeds could be put out either individually, or a TINY URL (so no one would know what it was about, but maybe with a code known only to Bluemooners) would direct to a secret location with all the links collated on it - away from the Bluemoon server obviously.
