That was nothing compared to the idiot who got his sparklers out at half time and wrote some rude words in the direction of the home crowd.

I remember someone stamping on a ribena carton once at the match, the kippax was so startled it had to be evacuated.

Sometimes at night I can see hear the screams of the cartoon berries.

I haven't touched a drop of the stuff since that horrific night. I can't even hold a capri sun it makes my skin crawl.

When I read the title I thought this was a thread about Richards.

Is it absolutely certain that it wasn't a fag end being discarded from the toilets and someone coughing very loudly at precisely the same moment?

Fireworks commemorate Guy Fawkes and his fellow Catholic conspirators. Fawkes was also known as Guido, which is foreign. The headquarters of the Catholic Church are in Italy so it's quite clear it's all Mancini's fault.

Reminds me of Leicester away in the late eighties [that terracing in the corner, obviously]. It must have been 5th Nov. Anyway, a big gap appeared in front of us as we realised a circle has been created with us all watching a lit rocket just spinning round on the floor in a Russian Roullette-type of way. It was quite mesmirising for a few seconds until somebody just jumped on it. May be it was the same idiotic person...

If someone had thrown a lit fag through the cloud of unbelievably rancid arse gas which I walked into on the way downstairs at half time, the roof would have blown off.

Anyone else smell it? My mate was three behind me and he did - and this was in a swirling November wind.

Although Bobby may have a hand in this he cannot be directly responsible.
The OP clearly states that the object was thrown.
If the firework was passed around from fan to fan for five minutes, only for it to then splutter out to nothing, then perhaps yes.
