Yes. No one should force their kids into anything. You can guide them, or at least try to. I used to take my lad to the game to get him into City. Ultimately it turned out he isn't into football in anyway shape or form so it's not an issue. If he had been though, (and it was under Pearce when I took him), and he thought 'this is fucking shit, i'm going to support United', I wouldn't have forced him to support City. They have minds of their own you know, and if you try and force anything on them they will rebel 9 times out of 10.

If it's Altrincham or Oldham. Or I move out of Manchester and they grow up somewhere else, maybe. But it won't matter, we'll be a world force by the time I have children and they'll be chuffed to support the same as their daddy.

Discussed this very important matter in a series of PM's with a Mod around a fortnight ago.

Any City Fan now under the age of 14 and those to come unfortunately will be spoilt little Bastards ! They are not going to suffer like we had to.

Do you want to be a good Parent or do you want company when you go the Game ?

Make them suffer like you suffered. Make them support Everton - show them that life isn't fair.

I bet you've got form for some kind of weird behavior though, whereas your brother probably hasn't. ;-)

The NSPCC will have your bollocks for paperweights. What you're proposing is akin to child cruelty!
