Having a look at all the media sources reporting this transfer, most of them are going with this conservative figure for how much the transfer fee is, even though on the official rag website it doesn't even give a fee.

When we have signed players with conditional fee's, a overwhelming majority of news sources just included this and would say the grand total as the actual transfer fee.

city's transfer fees are invariably inflated by the rag press by adding on the player's wages for the length of his contract irrespective that he might not even see out the full contract at city. as an example tevez cost city £25.5 million but the rag press went into full frothing at the mouth mode claiming it was £45 million.
