Realised that I posted this in the wrong thread.

It's inconsistency, not corruption. You cannot complain that you have had less of the rub of the green than anyone else. You haven't played a match that even compared like ours against Stoke, and none of us cried corruption for that game, or when there should have been two reds against you lot. On the same day you had the ref miss Simpson's blatant handball on the line against the mickey mousers.

Shit happens, that's football.

The rest of the thread is talking about the Kompany tackle from January right? An I am also talking about a tackle from January right? So I'm pretty much in the exact keeping of the timeline set out by the op for comparison right? Or only the men in blue allowed to use past refereeing mistakes as a comparison?

lol @ corrupt. Another day he would have been sent off perhaps.

Was the ref corrupt for not seeing Barry's challenge on Whelan? Was the ref corrupt not seeing the challenge on Parker from Balotelli?

Enough of the agenda crap it's boring. Refs make mistakes, shocker

lol@ you

"refs make mistakes".....Bit convenient excuse in most matches involve in the usual suspect!!!

There have probably been 20 or so challenges similar to the one Kompany made, 2 legs used to a degree, ball played, no contact or foul on the player, during this season. Kompany has, so far, as far as I'm aware, been the only one red carded. That's what stinks here. Was it as simple as Chris Foy being a dick and wanting to make a name for himself? Maybe. Was it a corrupt action, Foy taking advantage of a slightly iffy challenge to alter the course of an entire game? Again, maybe. There's no way to tell. What we CAN tell is that, as time goes by, it is more and more clear just how harshly Kompany was treated. No-one else gets punished for these things.
