To think Bluemoon was joking about this when he came out of retirement, what a fucking mug Holden is.

That is quite funny, if Scholes deserves to be listed as a player of the year candidate then so does Tevez, they've both been available to play this season for around the same amount of time, but, a player of the year candidate has to have played more than 3 months out of a full season surely, something which they both haven't.

Has he? Utd's outstanding player's are Rooney, Smalling, Valencia and Young

Scholes would not get in our team. He plays for Utd, because their midfield is weak. They get away with it as they are strong elsewhere. Utd will have to strengthen their next season.

The most disturbing and frightening thing about this is that it really wouldn't surprise me if it happened. Like giving it to Giggs because of his long service. There were far more deserving candidates when he won it. You may as well re-title it as an award for outstanding achievement, like they give old has beens in the rock awards because they've been around for years, have influenced generations of new bands, but are themselves no longer creating good music.

Next season Gerrard will get it after playing only six weeks in March and April and guiding Liverpool to an impressive 5th place.
