Why have they escaped any form of criticism? Both have presided over their teams slump/collapse in the run-in, yet sky and the press don't question their ability or shortcomings.

Redknapp has had a lot of criticism and that's why he's been on the defensive for a while.

If he makes the top 4 it will be an achievement considering we were long odds to finish top 4 at the start of the season. Liverpool were 9-1 to win the title.

Fergie will always get away with it that's just the way it is now

I'm sorry but for most of the season all we heard was about how Spurs are in the title race and in with a great shot of doing it. Spurs fans came onto this very site and professed it to everyone here. Redknapp reminded us of it every week until around Feburary. Now its an achievement if you finish 4th? Someone should plot Spurs season expectations on a graph like the infamous scouce boom/bust cycle.

The lack of stick United and Ferguson have received over throwing away an 8 point lead is fucking ludicrous. Even without knowing if it will lead to them throwing away the title if that had been us we'd have been getting it full bore in the neck since the day after the derby and we'd never be allowed to forget it for at least the next 10 seasonal run ins.

Could not agree more with this. There was a serious sense of superiority in a lot of Spurs' posturing, particularly from Candle Face. It reminded me of John Cleese in 'The life of Brian,' when it all started to go tits up; gradually reducing the argument to foot stamping when asked'What have the Romans ever done for us?'
They had better get fourth now, or every man jack of them is going to look a right ****.

I should have clarified really that I meant during interviews. The likes of Wenger, Benitez, Mancini and Villas Boas have had to put up with some pretty foul stuff. Ferguson especially can sit there and say we've ruined the transfer market and not one of the shitbags mentioned shrek, veron, plug, berbatov etc. He'll call someone for questioning the officials and no-one pulls him for being a hypocrite. He talks about squeaky bum time but the interviewers won't point out that his team have shit it. Are they that scared of him? He's a 70 year old man for fucks sake.
