Yeah it seems like its just going to be Messi on the front which makes it look to much like a Pro Evo cover for me. I was hoping they were waiting to see who won the league and whoever did win would get one of their players on the front with Messi. Hopefully City will make their own cover like last year for those who want City players on the front!

That must put an end to PES

Buy it from the City store with the City cover, or download the City cover from the EA website..... simples.

Fifa is a pile of shite... Same crap just re-polished with a few drip fed features added on...

Won't bother wasting my cash any more.

I've heard it's going to be Martin Kelly with Micah Richards, Philip Lahm, Dani Alves, Maicon and Sergio Ramos all on stand-by.

Very good.

All seriousness, I expect it to be Rooney and another young Englishman. But we're probably going to join up with EA again and we'll have our own covers.

I like FIFA, it's fun, but I find it way too easy against the computer and I don't really do online. I got the demo turned all the assists off and set the difficulty up to hardest and still beat Barcelona.

I've spent hundreds and hundreds of hours on each football game since the age of about 12 and I think the threshold for FIFA is a bit low now as they try and compensate for the less fanatical player.

PES is a bit harder, because the skill levels of the players on your team have much more of an effect (like it is extremely unlikely you will beat Barca with Swansea). For that reason I stick with PES, but it does have its own minor niggly flaws which can be really frustrating, mostly associated with keepers doing the most ridiculous things.

tl;dr, in summary: FIFA is easy and PES is broken.

I'll still buy PES next year though because I'm a mug.

World class mode isn't too easy. I haven't managed 1 goal in my multiple games vs the computer at that level.

Fifa shits all over PES, no need to even back that up, it's a fact.
