hazard , marin and kdb are good players , if they do sign hulk and oscar , and fail to be there with us next year , then i will be surprised

i am surprised to hear how much they bid ! They bid for lucas moura in the starting , then oscar , then also for willian , schrulle . Thats a lot of playes they actually put a bid on

Marin is nothing special, he'll be a bench player. Inconsistent and lightweight.

Hazard is quality but huge pressure on him to deliver straight away. Watching him against England a few months ago, he doesnt like deep compact defences and physical pressing.......that will be a big difference coming from shitty Lille to a top club in England where 90% of sides will defend alot against them. I think he will do well enough but I wouldnt bet on him being one of the stars of the league next year or elevating Chelsea up a level. Just my opinion.

Chelsea are also gonna be relying on Torres as it stands, until a new centre forward comes in. So I'd be sceptical about how well they will do. Defence and midfield looks the same.

They won't ber 6th anyway, defo top 4 but surely that's not enough, with their spending they have to go for the title.

Mata Marin and Hazard :O I'm actually very very scared of Chelsea this season.... Plus if Oscar joins they'll be even stronger.

Location: Travelling 400 miles overall on matchday to see City play. Couldn't have it any other way.
IMO Di Matteo won't last long...he rode his luck in the Champions League, and didn't improve them in the league...yes he was focusing on the CL, but they won't do it again. Cups are completely different the PL we all know that.

He is still the man who got sacked by West Brom...

I like him as a person, but for some reason I just have that feeling he won't last very long..

I guess if Chelsea have balls they will play something like this in the future

--------Torres
Hazard--Mata--Marin
----Oscar---DM

That is if they do sign Oscar and he turns out to be quality player as people think.
But that leaves Ramires out, who is one of their best players imo, they will have hard time chosing perfect line up I guess. And yes, for the record, I actually really rate Marin. I believe that if he can stay injury free, plays in his perfect position and have talent around him that are on his wavelenght, he can fly under radar with all eyes on Hazard and have amazing season and kick on from that

They have good players, I personally hope they keep splashing the cash. Takes away focus from us and keeping all those players happy will not be easy specially when the team are losing.
Some of the players will be critised for their hefty price tags, some players will complain in public and the dressing room will be poisonous to be in.

Financial Fair Play is a load of cock and balls.

Would be interesting if it was enforced strictly. Spend money that you earn.

Marin has actually been Chelsea's best player in pre-season so far.

He's quick, direct and can beat a man. Miles ahead of Malouda.

I wouldn't be surprised to see him start a lot of games for them next season.

Pretty sure AJ would look like Tranny against an MLS defence.
