Imagine having to tell Neapolitans that they will have no football for 3 years...

i was just thinking about this. what happens with the players? every player would surely have to move? cut price transfers? or even free transfer! no idea how it will work.

also if this happens i can seriously see balotelli staying with city till the end of his career. italian league will be weak and would have to rebuild.

its all theory atm, probably wont happen

It's a ridiculous suggestion of course, but he's right in saying that something drastic needs to be done because the game will kill itself without any intervention needed from the PM if this sort of thing continues.

Does anyone really think that this doesn't happen at all in England or elsewhere for that matter?

This may be a bit harsh and uncalled for, but Martin Fulop against Arsenal was peculiarly dodgy. Last day of the season, not having anything to play for and all that. There are many instances of dodgy form that would be examined a lot more if we had the history of the Italians. But who is to say it hasn't happened? I really can't believe players aren't approached here as well.

it's here as well, don't make the mistake of thinking it's not.

I was saying that to my son the other day. Last day of the season, Arsenal need a win to guarantee CL competition and Marton Fulop having the worst game of his career. Completely at fault for 2 of the goals and the other one was decidedly dodgy.

Add to that he seems to be destined to be the permanent 2nd choice keeper and he comes from Hungary (the region where a lot of these criminal gangs in Italy seem to work from) - it all looked highly suspicious.
