Can we please get behind our boys and our manager? Already some people are asking for Roy to get the sack, or some hoping that we lose every game to get him sacked. People that say or think this are not true England supporters. No matter what your opinion is, it should not make you want us to lose, or to support the team any less.

The guy has just started, he's made decisions which up till now many don't agree with. Don't judge him now though, he deserves a chance, let him do things how he wants and then we'll see what happens. To judge a manager after one or two games is pathetic.

Personally I don't think we will win anything soon, and in the past have known that we wouldn't win. That does not make me support the team any less. Also that doesn't mean that we won't win anything, who could have thought that Greece or Italy would win in past years?

The issues England have won't be sorted overnight. If people blast every manager after the first couple of games then they'll never be sorted. Roy is the manager, not us, I wish people would stop thinking they could do a better job when in fact they wouldn't even know where to start. So stop putting pressure on the manager and instead help by supporting him and the team.

I'm not going to get behind a manager who can't even pick the best players a nation has to include in their squad. I had high hopes for Hodgson and preferred him over twitcher but his squad selection has been appalling.

The football we've played has been uninspiring and incredibly dull and I overheard someone say "well if it works it works" but I think that person will get a nasty shock when we actually get into competitive games.

Im not one judging him yet but for me all the politics already have sucked dry any romance i felt about us in the Euro's.

I fully understand your stance and respect it immensly as it is something i feel i can't do right now.

The FA are the main culprits imo but Roy has shown he is very much a yes man for the FA and that didn't help as i felt he had more about him that that.

I know i should be bigged up for the competition and whatnot but i can't get exited about it mate. Even if we had a good chance of winning all this crap has just put me well of it.

It saddens me a little but the truth is i genuinely couldn't give a toss about England. Even with a manager who was to pick our best players we would still be above average at best. Now i've supported City all my life so watching average players is something i can accept if i love the team. But England can just fuck off.

Infact i'd much rather our English City lads be sat on a beach resting up for the new season rather than facing the invitable blow to their confidence when we are dumped out by Greece or flaming Denmark.

My biggest problem is nothing to do with the players or the manager. It's just the complete and utter lack of enthusiasm that I feel for us as a nation.

I am just about the least patriotic person you will meet. Where I was born was just a matter of fortune/chance, and yeah I'm happy to be here, but I don't understand why that should have any bearing on who I choose to support.

If I could have chosen a country at birth it would not have been this one. If I could have chosen a national football team it would not have been England. So for that reason I just can't get excited about something I had no control over.

City was a choice I made, and my choices are what make me who I am.

I don't wish to disrespect those who want to follow England, and I won't say anything negative about those people, that's their choice. Mine is that I simply don't care and I doubt I ever will.

I haven't lived in England for quite a few years now but still miss it and I'm looking forward to going home this summer. There are a lot of people in the world who would gladly swap places with you for the lifestyle and opportunities living there give you. However if you really don't care about the place try moving away to somewhere new. Oh I see you already have..............to Scotland FFS!

Say what you want. I prefer Scotland to England. I'm not going to argue the ins and outs of that decision, I'm just happier here than I was back home.

I'm quite aware England (and more generally the UK) is a good place to live in comparison to many other countries which is why I said I was happy to be here and I never said I didn't care about it. I care about England and its people greatly and I would never wish ill on the country that brought me up. But being here was not a choice, as I think it was Ono said the other day "Being proud of your country is like being proud of a bus stop because you happen to be stood at it."

Good fortune brought me to England but that doesn't mean I have to pretend it's the only good country in the world. There are many other excellent places to live and I intend to go and see them before I judge which places I prefer. But I intend to eventually pay back every penny the state has given me for the opportunity to do that. I'm not expecting hand outs.

I moved 300 miles when I was 18 to go to university, I'm going to be moving thousands more to do my PhD. So don't worry about me, I am going to be somewhere new.

He's been in charge for 2 matches!! He may or may not be a disaster but a little early to expect him to have the team playing like Brazil.

I remember everyone slagging off Bobby Robson for his squad and team selections in both Mexico and Italy. Struggled early on in both tournaments but then, with a bit of luck, could've gone on to great things.

Whatever you, think about Hodgson, he's the man in charge for now so give him a chance.
