The rumours are picking up steam.

It´s the (former?) President of Qadsiya FC in Kuwait that is mentioned. Good for a couple of hundred mills so hardly a threat, but he´s married into the Al-Sabah family who are minted.

Might have to keep an eye on them perhaps?

I live a mile from the City ground, I have heard these rumours for about a week, I would love someone to buy Forest and get premier football back here, especially when the mighty blues come to town. :)

In hindsight it was/is fairly certain that clubs like Leeds, Forest and Wednesday will get an ambitous owner eventually.

They can rot.

Forest would be a decent acquisition, nice stadium, just the old main stand left to redevelop IIRC so could probably expand to a 35k capacity.

30,603. They were getting a new stadium if England got the World Cup though.

Correct, plans were afoot to build a new stadium near the Gamston Island close to Tollerton airfield, this is about 2 miles from the current ground, personally I would love them to stay where they are if they could redevelop, I think that setting next to the Trent is one of the best in the football league.

Picturesque, but impractical and expensive to redevelop the City Ground though. Forest are vunerable at the moment with the sudden death of their owner so they hope that the owner is the real deal.
