He could be a Cantona for us, brilliant and enigmatic but he could just as likely be an also ran. A player with massive potential but who couldn't control himself and who wouldn't listen to advice or act on instructions. It looks like Mancini cuts him a hell of a lot of slack, but I hope he isn't giving him enough rope to hang himself.
One thing is for sure if he doesn't behave himself the Italian players, team, manager, fans and press will not give him anywhere near the slack we have. They just won't tolerate it and nor should they. I really hope it goes well for him but you can't help thinking it will all end it tears. I genuinely hope not for the lads sake.
