I never bought into the idea that England are shit and wouldn't get out of the group. Nor at previous tournaments did I think we were anywhere near good enough to win them

England are as good/bad as they have been for the last 10yrs. The difference this time is the 'Arry didn't get the job and his mates at TS, The Sun etc want everyone to believe that Hodgson is a journeyman and all the players are no good

England are a 1/4 final team, perhaps semi final with a bit of luck

We were a very very good side around 2004-2006. There weren't many teams better than us around that time. We are not at that level now.
