RIP big lad Northern Ireland legend

What a shock, I didn't even know about this.

McDonald and all of the players from the early to mid 80's did Northern Ireland proud. To qualify for two consecutive World Cups was an achievement which will never be equalled. Great clip above, remember that night so well. Also the last man to take the Irish league to the Oval. RIP big man.

I was also shocked when I read this on teketext. Saw him play against Utd on several occasions. A wholehearted player who rarely let QPR down.

R.I.P

I was one of the 10,000+ that travelled to Wembley that night to see us qualify for the second consecutive world cup finals.
Great lad who always gave his all every time he went out to play and will be sadly missed
(heck, I will even forgive him his spell at the oval)
