Another team taken over from abroad and now skint with possibly Lee Clark in charge.

Good young boss but I'm sure he could have pulled a safer job.

Carson Yeung can't really invest anything in them as he's currently being done on money laundering charges in Hong Kong. They banned him from leaving the country until recently and the HK legal system isn't exactly known for its fairness. In fact its as corrupt as the men it sentences. They charged him £8m just to be released from custody at one point.

Did a decent enough Job at Huddersfield and was a little unlucky to get the sack. Will be a tough job with all the antics going on off the pitch but hopefully he can at least emulate what Hughton did as he's a good lad Clarkie (not that that counts for much i know)

Yes indeed. That was I suppose the reason for the thread. So many owners promise the world. We are the lucky ones dining at the top table.

They arent even the biggest in the City though, Villa have far more fans. I like Birmingham, my in laws are all blue noses, but they harp on about being a big club but their fans cant be bothered to go. Having lived in Birmingham, there are a lot of noses that never go, but bang on about being loyal supporters. When they were in the third tier, pulling in 10-12k each week, they got to the Leyland Daf cup final and sold out their end at the old Wembley, which says it all. Their stadium is a shit hole, owner in jail and best players about to leave. I hope Clark does well, although if he loses Davies, Redmond, Buckland and Burke, like he probably will, he is going to really struggle.

Clark had a lot of money to spend at Huddersfield and his achievements didn't match up to the owner's ambitions, twice losing in the play-offs, with the money he had, you could argue that he was deservedly sacked, as many would argue with Mancini had he not won the league. I think he was a little unlucky but he's made some bad moves, playing Afobe over Rhodes in 2011 final, and only really this year building a team around Rhodes. Good luck to him though, he'll have learnt from previous mistakes.
