They must be in a bad way with ffp to be selling all your best players. Or will they spend big?

Average age of that leaving XI is 33. In fact, if you remove Thiago Silva, Lopez and Aquilani (the only under-30s, and they are all 27 or over), the average age of the remaining 8 is over 35. I don't think they're going to lose too much sleep over that.
