I am driving to Arsenal and I am happy to provide a lift for Manchester based City fans subject to passengers being willing to share the costs of fuel. My car is a Mondeo and there is room for upto four passengers.

I have no problem with passengers having a few beer on the way.

Please PM me with details if you are interested.

It's true it's not easy around Arsenal. You could try parkatmyhouse.com. I used them for Arsenal a couple of years back and got on some office car park not too far away.

Or park at somewhere like Watford and train it from there. I'm driving down as well and think I'm going for this option.

Good luck, there`s no fucking petrol or do you have an electric car? Any chance of a lift from Bavaria?

By the way there are some trains that day. It's not clear and different websites seem to have different info. I'm still looking at options like getting to Birmingham and then train into London from there. I think that line is ok but I'm going in to the station travel office to make sure. Another one is Luton parkway. Dead easy because it's only a mile or so off the M1 junction and you are straight on a train. Usually plenty going in to London on that line.

I used parkatmyhouse for the Carling Cup match. Parked in someone's driveway on Tuffnell Park Road, 10 minute walk from the ground. It cost a tenner but I had a full car so it was worth it.
