I spoke to the ticket office today and they said you couldn't upgrade a junior ticket to an adult in the family stand. Anywhere else in the ground is ok but not the family stand.
Thats funny as i have for Sunday and did for the derby !! and i sit in 238.

Upgrade early!
I tried to upgrade at 9am on derby day and told it was not possible due to security reasons (although I'd done it for the Chelsea game!!?). I had promised the ticket to a mate and rather than let him down I gave him the ticket anyway. We got caught and i now can't watch this game with my boy. You might think City would show some leniency (fine me/ charge me double whatever) but it looks like there's going to be at least one empty seat in the stadium.
i was a fool, but my intentions were good - and now the punishment is immense.
