Spoke to someone in the ticket office yesterday, apparently there is a cap
on superbia of 75 but not sure how many invites actually go out. It does appear to be a very elite club and as someone said, you are paying somewhere around an extra £700 for the privelage.

I reckon it's more than 75,we were invited last year and this so there's 3, squirty another 3, plus a few more in this thread so I can't see 75 being the cap as that's just allowing for bluemooners.
Sure if money was no object it would be great to have a box etc but ticket wise it means nothing cos we get to the games either way, if as people say it works out to be 700 quid over priced then that's another 2K I'm out of pocket, not worth it IMO .

I think he means capped at only selling 75 they may ask 1000's on a first come first served basis

They sent packs to the 1000 highest points totals last season.

i was told 27 took this up last year.
if you qualify for this then you ordinarily dont have any problem getting tickets for away games - superbia is offered to to the most loyal fans.
i think its a piss take - last year then sent a letter and pack to everyone who qualified thanking them for theire die hard support, 'without you city would not be regarded as the club with the best fan's in all the world' (or something like that). it went onto say - 'so as a thank you for your tremendous loyalty we would like to offer you the opportunity to become a superbia fan'!!!

Now i think city are brill and off the field they are making great strides (value season card is fantastic / city square etc) but If city wanted to repay loyalty, surely they wouldnt ask you to cough up £2500!!!

i will be declining again, choosing to invest the £2600 i have lying around, on getting the dog groomed !!

Got the invite last year and this. Didn't miss a game last year home and away except the pre-season states trip but I would still have been a few hundred quid out of pocket so I've gone platinum again this season.

I just think it's too expensive, there are a couple of other perks but now with buying all the away tickets on line getting these is hardly a hassle and they are delivered free to your door.

Got just short of 12000 points after renewal so not unduly worried about not getting away tickets.

Might do it in the future, who knows?

I managed another season of every game last season, domestic and European. I was also invited to Superbia, and turned it down. And after totting up i spent £1900 on tickets. So a saving of £600. I wish it had cost me more than the £1900 obviously as that would have meant we would have gone further in Europe etc.
At £2650 i will be turning it down again, it is a good idea in principle but with the points i have its not a problem getting a ticket so there really is no benefit to taking it up. If the club decide in future years to add some "worthwhile" benefits to the package i may change my mind.
