It's an iPhone 4 that's all you can see on the screen is those white/Grey lines screen keeps flickering and goes completely white

Is it yours? Did you try to jailbreak it? Firmware wise was it the latest?

It's the mrs phone

It was never jail broken but it hasn't had an update in about 10/12 months

It was telling her to delete some photos and a error message was coming up every now and then saying "this accessory is not optimised with this phone even though nothing was plugged into it

Right ok have you tried restoring in iTunes? I presume you have?..

Have a look on here http://ipod.about.com/od/iphonetroubles ... iphone.htm

If the iPhone was new and on contract Plus never been jailbroken you can just take it to an apple shop and they'll sort it for you..

The best thing is to go to the apple shop .... get to see a genius ..... if they can't fix it then they will repair it .... usually this costs about £120 and they just give you a new phone!,,,, it worked a treat or me hen I drowned my iPhone Hope that helps
