Christ I feel sick. Virgo's bearded shadow looms over us even from the afterlife.

Also, your second point about his faith, why does that make people hate him?

Because, even if his ultra fundamentalist Christian viewpoints were true, the twattish arrogance it takes for you to believe that the creator of the whole of the Universe; the creator of the entirety of creation, of all space and time, is personally helping you win football games is incredible.

It's not arrogance, it's faith HIS faith, he's not forcing it down other peoples throats.

Tim Tebow wrote:
"I think number one is, what my mom and dad preached to me when I was a little kid: Just because you may have athletic ability and you may be able to play a sport doesn't make you any more special than anybody else,it doesn't mean God loves you more than anybody else"

"We play a sport. It's a game. At the end of the day, that's all it is, is a game. It doesn't make you any better or any worse than anybody else. So by winning a game, you're no better. By losing a game, you're no worse. I think by keeping that mentality, it really keeps things in perspective for me to treat everybody the same."

I'm on my phone rather than a PC so it's difficult to produce the exact stats.

However, his pass completion rate and average yards per game are shocking, particularly given the Broncos' relatively weak run game. He put the steelers to the sword in a game when Big Ben could barely move, it certainly wasn't a standard Steelers performance. Don't get me wrong, I do recognise that he has won games, but I think he is devoid of the class that I needed at this level.

Wouldn't surprise me in Denver tried to pick up a more technical QB, either from the draft or someone like Matt Flynn. If not this year, then almost certainly next year when the Tebow experiment has failed.

As for the god thing, -this is one of those debates that is pointless on an internet forum, things will be misread and offence taken, and that's not my intention at all. So, i'd like to apologise for bringing it up. I will, however, clarify my statement if it helps; the fact he has faith doesn't make people dislike him, and if it does they are idiots. The problem is that he is rapidly becoming a poster boy for the religious right, and many people are naturally going to rebel against that. So, I suppose what I'm trying to convey (admittedly badly), is that people dislike Tebow because of how the media are portraying him rather than the man himself.

Can we get back to football? How about this; is Joe Flacco ready for SuperBowl?
