will be avin a few in town before the game calm the old nerves, definately pissed afterwards, not working monday thats for sure!

Trying to stay sober. Dont want my weak bladder to make me miss a critical moment!

The trouble is that I'm planning to get to the ground early. Just cant risk getting stuck in a traffic jam on the M62. So should have at least an hour and a half to kill before kick off. And my wife is driving us home. The temptation could be too much.

Hoping to be in the KRO bar for 12 ish for a nice breakfast and a few liverners
Get to the ground early for a change to take in the atmosphere and a couple of pints of piss

IF we win, back into town and no-one will see me till Tuesday

Have a couple with the match and take it easy after. Come 10pm all bets are off.

If i get to pissed i will end up in the basement, and not the club full of blues, yeah you know where i mean.

I will be watching 2 pints in which could possibly be one of the best days of my life.

So will I.

On a related matter, I used to know an old Everton fan who went on a massive bender in Rotterdam when they won the E.C.W.C. He told me that his last memory was looking down at three pints at his feet as the game was about to kick off. His next memory was in the hotel the next day. Didnt remember a single thing from the game or the celebrations after.
He swore that if they ever did anything again, he'd drink once the trophy was won.

Staying sober till after the game, if we win I'll be hammerd not long after the final whistle

I dont drink at city games usually, i want to absorb myself into the match and drinking takes me away from that.


But i'm not going to be there tomorrow so will be joining in the fun tomorrow in the city
