Good question this been pondering it myself. Definitely don't want to be too pissed, but will have my usual couple. I think I'm gonna skip the cans in the car and just have 3 or 4 in the pub for this one

Starting with a big breakfast in anticipation to soak up the beverages. After breakfast going to start with a few and drink slowly and steadily through the morning; pacing myself. By the time kick off comes I'll have had a few but wont be pissed, just steadied the nerves and lubricated the old vocal chords.

Afterwards is when I'll be properly drinking. Merry as a - erm, dunno - something that's merry if we win; drunk as a skunk, drowning my sorrows if we don't...then look forward to next season!
