The question posed seems to presume that ignorance and happiness are inexorably intertwined and that the possession of knowledge (together with the intelligence to deduce outcomes from that knowledge) is a sure fire route to misery and depression. However, those of you with knowledge and intelligence will recognise that it's a poor example, because there isn't a link between the two (you can as clever as fuck and still be happy as Larry or as daft as a brush and miserable), and those of you who don't understand won't give a chuff.
