I know this has prob been covered on here before like, but heres the thing... I used to use piratebay and a whole host of torrent sites to download albums... But since moving out and getting BT infinaty i canot use torrent sites as they claim to take 6 weeks to download things which with 60 meg broadband is extemly hard to believe... I use another website called nzmatrix.com which downloads files called .NZB , not the average torrent... The website is excelent (Subscription required though which i dont mind paying for) and i can get any film, xbox game anything really in under 5 mins apart from albums i want so i know its not my internet being a tw@...

Yes, bt have bottlenecked bittorrent style transfers aka lots of tcp connections.

nzb's are meh at best and your paying a company direct for piracy leaving a trail to you (not good). BREIN aree shutting all newsgroups down anyway so where you are now will be gone soon.

Best bet is get on to a quality private ftp which is where all the stuff comes from anyway before it touches nzb's and torrents.
The one i own has about 6TB of mp3 and flac that covers all what was released last year and up to this point.

These are very hard to get on though due to sceners being an exclusive bunch of chaps and also security or not wanting many people knowing they even exist.

I see what u mean there is a third party site thing which ur advised to use called astraweb? Iv been using these services for about 2 yearsish things went smooth... Sky providor worked fine just BT seem to slow things down abit... Nearly all my collections have been purchased through itunes or hmv themselves and i only use websites like this when im skint, and with payday 3 weeks away and the " made in britain" album being released last monday... Desperate times etc

astraweb is just another newsgroup (nzb) provider matey.

I use astraweb, with nzbsrus and sabnzb+

Piece of piss to use and comes down at whatever speed you have. I think it was $50 for 1000Gb.

lol maybe i should start selling slots on my servers haha. The naughty boys who do sell slots on ftp sites usually do unlimited transfer for 50 a month.

Soon we will be all that is left after the fbi and others have finished with nzb and torrent sites.
We were the first and we shall be the last :)
