I wouldn't normally do this but I have to say that it's outrageous that a thread about a girl who was horribly murdered by her own father descended into personal abuse, petty name calling and threats to report to the mods.

It was a thread which very quickly became about Pakistani and Islamic culture, so it isn't that surprising that it became personal in nature.

We need a new sub forum strictly for those who like to talk about Muslims.

Sub-forum for sub-humans, sounds good.

It is possible to have a sensible debate on foreign cultures and how they should or shouldn't be perpetuated in a different society with resorting to insults. Skashion's remark is meant to be ironic and I assume is a comment on some of the posts in the original thread.

As I keep saying, this type of racism is the product of ignorance, is a societal problem, and has little or nothing to do with religion even if 'honour killings' are purportedly carried out in the name of religion.

Well I don't consider myself to be sub human, and I certainly don't think that calling Brooklands Blue an ignorant racist xenophobe is particularly insulting to him when you look at the types of things he posts. I would expect him to positively revel in such a characterisation.

Of course nobody dare mention Islam and some of its questionable facets - and no religion is immune from this can I make clear before the spotlights and gaze of the gauleiters swing in my direction - but Christianity, of which I am not a practitioner, but was brought up as and think I am a reasonably rounded human being, can be denigrated and insulted at will. Let's have some even handedness here - either all should be open to being analysed and criticised reasonably or none.

Hmmmm. Yet again the usual suspects turned a serious thread into an "oooo-look-at-me" thread.

I apologise if my remark about a certain poster's legal team being at the ready in anyway detracted from said thread or contributed to it being pulled.
