I'm loathed to post links to this piece of shit but it's relevant to the Shafilea Ahmed debate about culture v religion.
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article ... riend.htmlAs I keep saying, this type of racism is the product of ignorance, is a societal problem, and has little or nothing to do with religion even if 'honour killings' are purportedly carried out in the name of religion.

I wouldn't normally do this but I have to say that it's outrageous that a thread about a girl who was horribly murdered by her own father descended into personal abuse, petty name calling and threats to report to the mods.
Some of you clowns need to fucking well grow up. Think on it while you have a chance.
It was a thread which very quickly became about Pakistani and Islamic culture, so it isn't that surprising that it became personal in nature.
It is possible to have a sensible debate on foreign cultures and how they should or shouldn't be perpetuated in a different society with resorting to insults. Skashion's remark is meant to be ironic and I assume is a comment on some of the posts in the original thread.
Well I don't consider myself to be sub human, and I certainly don't think that calling Brooklands Blue an ignorant racist xenophobe is particularly insulting to him when you look at the types of things he posts. I would expect him to positively revel in such a characterisation.
