Unlike the previous government- pah! Labour have systemically fucked this country up EVERYTIME they have been in power. Viva la Tories, Viva the Toffs- It's not what your country can do for you but what YOU can do for your country!!!!

You are wasting your time brookie, the Tories are always the devils spawn on here

I know it really winds me up though-the stinking attitude of some of our citizens is holding the country back. Imagine If a middle class/upper class person constantly referred to a working class politician as 'peasant' -not judging them on their policies/track record but their background- they'd be rightly pilloried. Yet the reverse is totally acceptable, I'm sick to death of hearing the word 'toff' on this forum. Labour fucked our economy royally through years of tax and spend and kissing the collective arses of their core support- public sector/servants while those who had their own businesses and created wealth were shafted- well shits changed and we're not paying your index linked pensions anymore-WELCOME TO THE REAL WORLD PEOPLE.

I thought it was the bankers that fucked up our economy? I guess it was also labours fault that greece's, spains and ireland's economies are fucked up too. Labour gave us free healthcare, pensions, payed holidays and the minimum wage. They're the peoples partiy, as city are the peoples club. The tories are all eton going twats that decend from our Norman invaders. have never had to worry about anything because they were born rich and they will never undstand what ordinary people have to go through. Before thatcher came into power the streets were'nt so full of homeless people. She made selfishness a social norm again. Labour aren't perfect, far from it, but they represent us.

The usefulness of privatisation of the main public services is yet to be proved....I doubt it can ever be a useful tool in bid to provide society with a decent standard of education (companies always have a vested interest in what the people believe to be true), health care (is it morally right that monetary matters even enter any debate when we are talking about somebodys well being?). The police (who polices the police if they are run and owned by self serving companies with agendas - companies will always have agendas - they want to make money). The prison system (so companies will now have a VESTED interest in the continuation of crime and new victims - INSANE!!!).

Can anybody from the right please explain how they can support proposals to privatise public services when these obvious problems exist??

Not a conservative or part of the "right" but I do value the free market

Government doesn't deliver a decent standard of education. And all the problems of vested interest are apparant (for more apparant) in government because it holds an actual, or effective, monopoly on the service and is guaranteed funding no matter how well it serves the customer (student)

I'm not going to go into Healthcare, Police etc. as that's a long discussion and and I quite frankly can't be arsed with it but education is something which definitely should be left completely to the market. For those who couldn't afford it (even with the huge decline in price that would follow) they could be given the funds to choose their own school. But, with that said, with the technology available to us now mixed with the innovation of the or part of the right, because in truth market I doubt it would even be needed. It's in the interest of the educator to give them free education in order to be paid back at a later date when the student gets a job.

On a side note, I believe there's a phenomena starting in China with regards healthcare whereby you pay the doctor a set amount each month whilst you are healthy and when you get sick you get your treatment for free. It is thus in the interest of the doctor to keep you healthy. It'll be interesting how this fares.

You cant be arsed about a debate on things that are so significant to our country. I suppose that sums the far right up. You say you are not conservative or part of the right because in reality you are one of those tea party nutjobs that live in the USA, totally unaware of what your fucking stupid free market values do to society.

I abhor people as baseless as you, you have no compassion, you have no reason and you hate society. Im so glad i dont live in your world of me me and the world of individulism that Ann rand portrayed. Humans have to work together to be there best, like it or not the the right wing ideology you espouse has never worked and never will

I stopped reading on your first line as you immediately drew attention to your lack of knowledge on the subject.

Fuck it I then read the rest. Cheers, good chuckle from me here.

Fuck the Tories, the Norman bastards! Pmsl

Nice demagoguery.

Unsurprisingly, you're wrong about me being part of the "tea party".

As for not being arsed debating, well I can tell you one thing, I certainly wouldn't bother debating you on the subject. You're as immature as they come and, as you have already demonstrated elsewhere, your grasp of economics is equally infantile. You're no Skashion.

No, the poster isn't wrong. Right Liberalism / anarcho-capitalism is the perfect bedfellow for tea party nut jobs.

Your 2nd sentence doesn't backup your first.

I'm as much a bedfellow of the TP as I am of full on Communists. I can't be a both tho. I'm neither.
