Imagine what Ridley Scott could do with the proposed Bladerunner prequel ?

i take it it is a prequel to aliens. the guy doing the speech is obviously the bad guy, that is how these films work. iirc the robot in the first alien film was ian holm, and english speaking robot with maniacal tendencies. in the second one the robot was american speaking and a hero. therefore english accent = bad guy, i have seen it all before and i know that this formula will not be changed as it does upset the amricans so to see an american bad guy! they are the heroes.

from what ive read it started out as an Alien prequel but went into an entirley different direction .so in essence NO its not a prequel.
i see similarities though with the alien ship and the " elephant type giant in the chair" ( start of alien when they searched the planet)

Ok but as you say you know it's a prequel to alien, so they can't change weyland from English to American! It's already established.

IT IS the Alien from ALIENS , not the big scary things but rememer the ship they searched where the egge were ?
well there was an elephant type giant in a chair and the ship is exactly the same also .ive just been investigating

so its Alien prequel but a prequel to the Alien in the Alien in the ruined spacecraft on the original planet

freeze the clip near the end just after the lifepod closes with a human in, you will see it
