Why are we not playing him? I understand what De Jong brings defensively, but going forward he slows the play down. We were a lot better with Barry, Yaya and Jimmy, weren't we?

He may have a slight injury or Mancini is keeping him for the run in where his energy and drive is key as other teams tire.

I would like to see him v Stoke.

Not really. Jimmy doesnn't play coz Nasri is more talented. The central mid is mostly occupied by Yaya, Barry, Nigel and Pizzaro. Jimmy mostly plays wide with Silva Nasri, Balotelli and Johnson.

He is not playing coz the guys ahead of him are better.

Quality player.

Baffled by his absence.

Could see him leaving in the summer. Could probably get 25 mil for him from Liverpool.

Is he still at the club? Seems like he's fallen off the face of the earth.

Agreed quality player, I'm hoping the boss is trying to mould him into Gaz Baz roll.

Pizzaro and Johnson better than James Milner? Not in my book Dax! Milner trains / works harder than anyone at the club and offers a solid alternative in several positions.

Unused sub in last three games, his last appearance was the 1-0 loss to Sporting. But even before that he was struggling for appearances, if he played regularly he'd probably show his best form. There's no secondary games now either to play him in.
