no its a construct m8

= First name, part of given name and MCR... shorthand for Manchester

thought it was a moment of genius myself but others have critiqued it as too derivative to be taken seriously

Stuck with it now

Agree with you, a tourist is a day tripper a person who goes once and has no clue about our club .
We have loads of London blues who've watched us through thick and thin.

ha ha ha tourist my arse........been city supporter over 40 years now,yes i live in london and have done for the last 22 years and talk like a cock-nee,,but originally from bedfordshire, yes i know its still a long way from manchester, but growing up there in the 70"s i fully remember the times i use to hitch hike(remember those days guys) up to see city...great fun,use to get home a day later and did midweek games too....saw john hawley score a hat-trick 4 sunderland when we lost 4-0 at home bout 79/80ish came out the ground pourin rain to thumb it back home (hours n hours n hours)...ive even managed to attend every home game one season......and for info i live in south london....nearest team millwall 10 mins away, and do i wear my city shirt on the streets and in the shops near their ground?? hell yes and with pride cos they are my team,so when you stand next to a cock-nee blue at a game, think not of him as a tourist, cos i look upon fellow blues as part of my family........
