It is no secret that we are looking to buy a winger to add an extra dimension to the way we play. This will no doubt mean more crosses into the box and so ideally should have a target man on our books. Dzeko is the best target man around for our system. He has great feet and a great eye for a pass, which is more than can be said about most target men. He can head, shoot well with both feet and has a great first touch(despite what some people claim) so will relish the service of both a playmaker and a winger. The fact that Dzeko has got so many goals in the system we play and with the amount of minutes he has had is a credit to him. He will fit in to our system much better if/when we have a good winger on our books who gets crosses to the box and he is more than capable of getting involved with our passing game aswell.

Aguero is a truly world class striker and i'm sure no city fans have doubts about him, he will only get better and seems happy at the club. He can play up front on his own which is also a big plus because i'm sure some games next season we will want to play with nasri, silva and a winger.

Mario may be a loose cannon but we have all seen what he can do. I think we should give him at least one more season to prove to us he can change and if he does he is a fantastic player to have.

In Guidetti we have one of the best young strikers around, attracting interest from Bayern and inter. Admittedly I have not seen him play but from what I have read and seen on youtube while he has been at Feyenoord he seems a great talent and his goals tally speaks for itself. He seems ideal for a forth choice striker. All these strikers have great ability and have an average age of around 22 and so could potentially play for our club for a long time so why change them, you never know how a new signing will settle at the club.

Tevez does not deserve to stay and I doubt he wants to stay so we should use the money from his sale to buy a top class winger and central midfielder rather than a replacement for him who we don't need.

We most certainly do. Dzeko is as inconsistent as the weather and Mario is the most untrustworthy player in world football. Aguero can't play 60 games and Guidetti is 19.

New striker needed for me.

Ballotelli and dzeko are not consistent enough and most of the time its like playing with 10 men when balos on the pitch. I like guidetti but know one knows how he will do in the prem so we cant rely on him. I love aguero and he will improve more next season but there are still doubts about his away form especially when playing on his own.

Personally I think mancini has had enough of dzeko and he will be sold in the summer, not sure about balo I would sell him but you never hes very young as-well. Guidetti will return to us and hopefully tevez will stay.

This is my dream set of strikers for next season
Tevez
Aguero
Guidetti
Van persie/Cavanni/Higuin

Tevez needs to stay,we will win the league.

If,however,he does go,we need to buy. Both Edin amd Mario, along with DJ and Milner should be used to fund the replacement(s)

Falcao
Martinez
Lavezzi
Vertonghen

If this season has taught us anything, it's that Balotelli and Dzeko can't be relied upon to be consistent.

Tevez, Aguero, Falcao, and Guidetti would be fantastic in an ideal world, even if it's probably not realistic. Three pacy and skillful players, one of whom (Falcao) is also lethal with headers despite being short, and one tall and physical striker of our own making who can give us that option without being a £20m+ signing on huge wages.

Short answer: Yes.

Longer version: Yes we do.

But these past weeks has led me to believe the best signing we could make would be to convince Tevez to stay with us,

How does dzeko have 'great feet and an eye for a pass'? His passes are often wayward and his touch is terrible. Got a good finish but he's way to reliant on confidence and therefore I don't think he can be relied on to fill tevez's boots should he leave.

I really wish we could keep Tevez but I know it is very unlikely. I can't understand why he cannot see how good he has it here. Seriously playing with an attack of Aguero, Tevez, Silva, Nasri, Johnson is Barcaesque. It just clicks, it works and it's 'sexy football'.
