Make your own assumptions on who is coming up from the championship, and who will still be in the league. I've gone for reading + Southampton (obviously) and west ham.

Top 6:

1. City
2. Scum
3. Chelsea
4. Arsenal
5. Spurs
6. Pool

...
18. Wigan
19. Norwich
20. Reading

Dunno about Norwich. I think they could be another "Stoke".

Also, if Dogleash is still in charge of Liverpool, then they aren't going to make top 6.

Southampton (like City in 99/00) will have jumped 2 divisions in 2 seasons and that is a step to fast so would be surprised if they were able to stay up (as City didn't in 01)

Difficult to predict next years top without knowing which teams fail to make the champions league at the end of this season yet.

However, I will go for

City (retaining the PL ;)
Arsenal
Rags
Chelsea
Spuds
Everton

3 down

Southampton
Villa (if they still have McLeish)
Bolton
