Im taking on Famous Name with Pentitent.

Will love the ground, has already had the measure of Questioning this year and looks the value bet in that race.

famous name has won on soft and placed but it's last 4 outings have all been on good ground. do agree that for value Pentitent ticks boxes.

The first race there at Punchestown the ground didnt look that bad considering the amount of rain this week. Think they are going over the fences tomorrow. Big race today is so hard to pick a winner. In the big 1 I done Volder La Vedette. In Cheltenham against Big Bucks it done so well to get as close as it did. As for Quevega on decent ground i would of backed it. Its going to be a reall close race and any of the horses can win it a good standard hurdle race.

Also last race Buckers Bridge was one I was given in the bookies today put it in the lucky 15 the bloke i was talking to was putting 50 euro each way on it.

Quevega was always nailed on to win. She would beat Big Bucks if they clashed but seems like both owners are against the idea. Voler is a good horse but shes not match for Quevega.

Surprised you managed to pick a winner in that farce of a meeting. Had a bet 1st day but havent bothered since. If they do run some races over fences in the next 2 days i wouldnt be surprised to see a few horses seriously injured. Like Mick Fitzgerald said, when the ground is that boggy its difficult for the horses to jumps off the ground and get high enough to clear a fence.
They should postpone the meeting til next week and run it properly.

Had it with Quevega and Uncle Junior. Hopefully tomorrow will be better if the rain stays away.
