I think it depends on the following.

1. Keeping Aguero, Silva and Yaya and keeping all of them and Kompany and Lescott as injury free as possible.

2. Finding a different way to play when neccesary. I think alot of clubs will have watched how QPR set up and think, we can do that and try and nick a point. Pace would help and finding a way to get Dzeko more involved would be good.

United were lucky this season in that they played Spurs, Arsenal and Chelsea first 3 home games when all of those sides were unsettled. They also played Arsenal away when they were in chaos and Spurs when Bale was injured. I would expect United to lose more points against the bigger clubs next season.

After finishing 18 points above Arsenal. I can see why we are favourites.

Yes.

Even if we only sign Hazard. The rags, Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool and even Newcastle will improve.

I honestly think we will score over 100 goals next season.

Just listening to the Lampard interview on Sky and he said roughly, "That first title win is so important, it made us into men, it turned us into better players."

I never want to be overly confident, that is why this City title hurts so much for the raggies, but if we keep the nucleus of the squad together, absolutely no doubt we will be there or thereabouts.

Cant wait.

First one was the hardest. 89 points is a lot. Remember rags had a stronger squad last season and finished with 79.

The chairman said it best, typical City is dead.

Yes Aslong as we keep main players in squad and sign another centre half and someone similar to Yaya was thinking fallaini however you spelt it at everton but don't think many would agree

unless the glazers reverse their m.o. and put in money, the rags will be weaker and teams much more willing to take them on
Chelsea are in transition, wont be ready
Arsenal too inconsistent
Spuds do not have a deep enough squad
L'pool in chaos
Newcastle do not have a deep enough squad
City will benefit from this year, mentally up for it with sky-high confidence, RM will make sure complacency does not blunt the drive we will need. Maintain home form, pick up points where we should and watch the rest take points off each other.
Football is not a finite science, there can be blips, but the set-up we have now looks too strong for the rest. Bring it on

Two extremely good points. We need to learn how to mix it up more when the opposition park the bus - which they will. The standard of our crossing needs to improve and we need to get more bodies in the box to put away the crosses.

For me we need a quality centre half, a replacement for Tevez (who should go), a quality wide player, a rmidfielder of the same quality as ya Ya and a quicker defensive midfielder who can pass the ball 40 yards to a City player so our break away play improves.

As to winning the title. We'll probably start as favourites but we will have to play bloody well to retain it. Everyone plays there best against the Champions. Utd will improve and so will Arsenal and Chelsea.

I just hope we don't morph into what we despise at the Swamp. We need to retain our humour and appreciation for other teams playing good football. To this end the "We'll score when we want" chant has to be dumped.
