This is a pivotal point in how the next few years could/will pan out.

As current champions we have to put in place the things that will keep us there and in my opionion allow us to pull away from the others.

This for me means 3 or 4 excellent signings (not necessarily expensive ones either) and trimming the fat off.

Add players who can help us change games when teams (as they will) park the bus for 90 minutes. Some good width would tick this box.

We have to seize this moment, cement our place as top dogs and really put the boot into the rest of the top 6.

And yeah I think we'll win it again next season, with Chelsea as the main competition.

I think it depends on the following.

1. Keeping Aguero, Silva and Yaya and keeping all of them and Kompany and Lescott as injury free as possible.

2. Finding a different way to play when neccesary. I think alot of clubs will have watched how QPR set up and think, we can do that and try and nick a point. Pace would help and finding a way to get Dzeko more involved would be good.

United were lucky this season in that they played Spurs, Arsenal and Chelsea first 3 home games when all of those sides were unsettled. They also played Arsenal away when they were in chaos and Spurs when Bale was injured. I would expect United to lose more points against the bigger clubs next season.

After finishing 18 points above Arsenal. I can see why we are favourites.

For me, this is key. With all of our quality attackers on the pitch, we struggled to break down a packed defence for most of the game, purely because of the lack of pace in our build-up. Against these tactics, only a fast winger or good, quick, accurate balls from defence or the DMs into space behind their defence, for the likes of Aguero or Edin to chase, will give us good, clear chances on goal. We had a lot of shots on sunday, but most were snatched half-chances, or blasts into a mass of opposition players. This means that we need an alternative of a total change of style even more than we need new players.
I just hope that Roberto has the flexibility to adopt a change when required. We could be virtually unbeatable.

We can. Need to keep the spine of the team though. A couple of additions and Bob will go for champs league too.

Are we all confident that we can retain the Crown for next season?

Really hope that we can build on last week and dominate for years. It won't of course be easy, the Rags will be wounded and the usual suspects will strengthen their squads plus we will be all the teams "Cup Final"!

To me if we can bury some hoodos, ie beating Everton, winning at Anfield and beating bloody Sunderland we could easily win it a lot earlier than the last few seconds of the last game.

I'd rather leave predictions like this to the experts:

I think it's fair to say we'll be in with a shout. That's all I ever wanted really... To be in with a chance.

What will be interesting is whether we can do better in the CL AND sustain a challenge for the League. It's a big ask.

I think we must remember that without the two (glorious) derby wins we were 6 points short. Bearing in mind the points we picked up when we were shit I don't think we should expect more than two out of six long term so we MUST strengthen!

Have to change the Everton away, Stoke away, and Sunderland away bogey fixtures - every single season of late we've been dropping 2pts or 3pts from those three fixtures. Everton is the worst as we can't even seem to get a draw there.
