The club will just about always be maximising its profits. The deals they have in place with Amazon (and the sales they make with such companies) alongside people who actually pay the increased price at the club most likely outweighs the profits any such 'exclusivity' from the club at a reduced price strategy would make. Consider how many experts are in place for this type of thing, and how quickly it took you to say 'oh, the club could be making more profits for FFP.' Then realise that you are probably wrong.
