The first I can recall that I was completely gutted about was City selling/swapping Mark Lillis to Derby for Trevor ' I look like a porn star ' Christie, I loved the passion Lillis, a boyhood Blue played with and can still see that silly waving of the arms dance he did in front of the Kippax when he scored, I remember writing to the club to complain at the sale but like my letter to Jimmy Fix It I still await my reply !!

Got to meet Mark at the Spurs home fixture at the end of 09/10 season and he still watches City home & away when he can, He duly signed my programme and said he was gutted to be sold but City told him they needed the money - How times change !!!

I wasn't so much a kid as I was 22 year old, but the two transfers that still grates with me was the sale of Peter Barnes and Gary Owen in 1979 to West Brom. Gutted would be an understatement at how I felt.
