Those who condemn should be more forgiving. - remember this is what it means to be City.

i know, well next season be as different as us and stay in your seat, clap the lads till the end and if we feel shit cos we lost the title on the last day imagine how they would be feeling. sing your hearts out for the lads.

btw i can't believe why anyone would leave early in any game but they must have their reasons but for the last home game extra extra effort is reqd, win or lose.

Because some guys are different Bill.
Some who go to the game see it as an afternoon pursuit and do not see the huge connection between behaviour in the stands and on the pitch. They think that leaving early doesn't mater because the guys will cope either way. It's selfishness over the Blitz spirit and it's fucking up the country, let alone the stadium.

its a football game, not a fuckin war, all this ' we fight till the end' & ' your team needs you ' is bollocks, just because i dont jump around like a idiot doesn't make me less of a blue, ive been watching City for 40yrs, and one thing has become obvious ......... my team doesn't NEED me..

wow.

You're evading the point. Maybe if us, or British fans generally, behaved like Dresden fans (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VkkMf6Sg9Tg) or other Eastern European club's fans we could claim to actually be making a collective positive difference. In my substantial experience of home matches (thankfully not as much as we used to) when things aren't going well, we have tended to make a collectively negative difference. Either by going quiet or, worse, making our displeasure heard. We're by no means alone in this, and are better than many, but we don't make anywhere near as much difference as we could. In that respect, the team really doesn't need us individually because we're not making a difference collectively.

I'm not really the type of person that starts songs (although I maintain to this day that I started 'one Gary Neville at Maine Road :) ) but I've never said or done anything other than support the team.

Lets just hope that the QPR game persuades a few more to stay to the end.
Empty seats at the end of any game looks crap.
Leaving early is like never finishing a pint -unless you're poorly it doesn't happen.
I will NEVER forget the QPR game just like I'll never forget the FA Cup Final - you can not buy this stuff! !!!!

I don't think everyone who 'left' actually left, they were more than likely going down to the concourse for a drink. But I have no sympathy for the ones who did leave, serves them right.

I honestly have to say that wild dogs would struggle to drag me away from watching OUR BLUE CHAMPIONS :-) 48 YR OLD!!

I think the players would prefer you to stay until the final whistle.
