So what's he going to do?

A hat-trick, a **** or a walk off the pitch.

One things for sure I reckon he's going to be centre stage so what's it going to be?

He could be the player of the tournament. You know there will be some kind of drama surrounding him.

Unless he walks off.

The Spanish fans know exactly what they have to do to get him to respond.

A chance to show if he's grown up a bit this tournament. Needs to show the world his talent and perform on the pitch. No stupid fouls, no sulking because things aren't going his way just show he can perform for his nation.

Also no player should have to endure racist chants but if he has any aimed at him he needs to be the bigger man and just ignore them and channel his anger into scoring goals to shut them up. If he walks off he will only damage his reputation and international career.

Can't see Italy getting much of the ball. It's always the same when teams play Spain.

Going for the mad bastard to score a hat-trick. Back in me good books just for THAT pass.

This tournament could make him or break him. If he does well and scores goals, he can come back here and be fantastic, hitting the ground running and giving RM a hell of a selection headache.

On the other hand, if he doesn't do well, he could come back with his tail between his legs and end up being a burden and a massive distraction as his antics go from bad to worse. In which case a loan spell away would be best for all concerned.

He could be a Cantona for us, brilliant and enigmatic but he could just as likely be an also ran. A player with massive potential but who couldn't control himself and who wouldn't listen to advice or act on instructions. It looks like Mancini cuts him a hell of a lot of slack, but I hope he isn't giving him enough rope to hang himself.

Not a cat in hells chance of Mario ever being the player of a tournament or our player of the season.
He's far too volatile and inconsistant
