Born and raised in Stoke but a City fan none the less. The official City mag did an interview with him a few years ago.

I was one of a crew of lads who fitted the seats in the Kop End at Sheffield Wednesday back in the early 1990's. Anyway it's when they had that decent team Hurst, Waddle, Woods etc. And Trevor Francis was putting a few of the players through the paces on the pitch. At the end of it Mr Warhurst spotted the City hat I was wearing and jogged over for a chat for 5 minutes or so. He's a big Blue without a doubt and seemed a really nice lad.
